I would love to meet some diabetics In my area for some tea and a natter. Anyone from Newcastle upon Tyne area? And be up for meeting?
 
Hey @Fayefaye1429, I'm not living there but will be up in Scotland visiting family and passing Newcastle on way back during mid-July if it suited you?
 
Hey fayefaye1429... I've not been on the forum for a looooong while, merely lurking!! I live in Newcastle upon Tyne. Would love to meet a fellow diabetic...I don't know any! M x
 
I would be happy to set up a date and time. If you can list when is good for you. I am thinking like Sunday 19th

Turkey, way down between Greece and Russia,

I need some pals around here, but there is no forums active, no one I know of. It is always good to be with people who knows what you are, and the ones like you are!
 
There's another thread just started about meeting in person. I wonder if it might be an idea to have a section on the forum for arranging local meetings and groups, @Giverny ;)
