Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I would just like to ask if anyone has used their iBGStar with an iPhone 5 using the adapter/converter? I know it's not a fantastic solution to have to use an adapter but until Sanofi Aventis launch one with an iPhone 5 connector, this will have to do, if it works!!

I currently use it with an iPhone 4s and find it great for logging results.

Thanks, Dave

I just got the Apple adapter and it seems to work fine with the iPhone 5 / iBGStar.

It certainly has done data sync, blood test and charging.

Bit steep at £25 though.

I just downloaded the app and it says it was just updated to work with iPhone 5 and is working great on mine. I picked up an iBGStar meter on monday after seeing it advertised on here half price and love it!

Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)

Sorry to interrupt post with an off topic question, but Do the strips for ibgstar come on prescription?

Yes. They're called BGStar test strips (probably because they also work with the regular BGStar meter)
