Ideas to introduce carb after keto? (travelling)

Just want to safely be able to eat small amount of carbs per day maybe 50-100g during my trip. I want to do it safely too I dont want my bg going up causing DKA symptoms.
 
No meds yet just diet. I haven't been eating carbs, i am actually consuming only 20g. I just want to know if there is a process of stepping up carbs just in time for my trip next month.
 
If you are a type 2 and not on medication then you are extremely unlikely to get diabetic ketoacidosis.

Diabetic ketoacidosis is something that develops as the result of high blood glucose combined with insufficient insulin, or as a very rare contraindication of some type 2 medications.

So I think you can lay that worry to rest if you are just considering raising carb intake to about 100 g carbs a day and are not on any medication for your diabetes.

If I were you I would ease up into the 100g carb range in the few days before your trip, then just relax and enjoy yourself.
