Found these in Asda...............................Sorry for the picture quality
Butchers Selection 4 quarter pounders beef burgers. If you like a nice juicy meaty burger, then these are for you. I have these with shredded lettuce/carrot mix, a blob of yoghurt sauce on the side, fried onions on top and a squirt of lemon on top of the burger. Almost like a Shammy Kebab but without the spice. If you want to make it into a shammy kebab....................
let the burgers defrost and put them in a mixing bowl.
squash them up with your fingers until mincemeat consistency.
add a teaspoon of Garam Masala, handful of Coriander, either 2 chopped up green chillies or a sprinkle of chili powder, and 2 teaspoons of Kasuri Methi (fenugrec)
add 1 small egg and mix the lot together.
take a small quantity of the mix and flatten it out in the palm of your hand. Place the burger in a frying pan on medium heat and fry til cooked through.
serve with the yoghurt sauce, shredded lettuce and shredded carrot mix and put either a slice of lemon on the plate or use some Jif lemon.
2 x the original burgers will make 10-12 smaller, flatter Shammy kebabs
Alternatively go to your local Indian and order some.
