I've been unwell for just over a week now, with vomiting. I'm type 1 and also have Addison Disease. I've been to the doctors but he didn't know what exactly is wrong with me, so he has put me on antibiotics just incase. My mum found this website, and everything on there is what I am getting (https://www.drugs.com/sfx/metformin-side-effects.html) So I don't know now if it's a bug or is it my metformin? I'm on prolonged release Medformin tablet. Has anyone else has this? Do you think it's just a bug?

How long have yo been on the metformin? Usually the side effects are immediate, but I agree I'd be suspicious of it as a cause. Some people just can't cope with it, others are fine. But if I'd been vomiting for a week, as a T1 I'd make an appointment to see my GP.
