I'm So Scared

Hi @Julia McCoulough
feeling like that can be scary -- but if you know what to do -- and do it -- it will soon pass.

as you have not responded after posting we are getting a bit concerned for you
hypos can be mild and treated quickly and easily

do let us know that you have recovered please :)

I'm ok thanks it's gone high now

Hey Julia - Glad your ok ;)

If it wasn't a hypo then it could of been a false hypo if your levels were dropping quickly, are you speaking to a diabetic nurse regularly, it would be worth mentioning this to them they may want to review your insulin requirements to ensure you're not running high.

Glad you're OK Julia. Feel for you scary walking the tightrope between don't hypo and don't go high. After a big recent hypo my approach is now if in doubt test immediately and if really worried chew a jelly baby while I get test organised. Take care

just keep ringing and leaving messages until she rings you back
you have to try an put yourself at the top of her queue !!!!!!!

Can you leave a message or ring her clinic and leave a message asking for her to call back, to be honest you need to make a nuisance of yourself, your health is a priority, so keep calling until she calls back, please keep trying.

She rang me back but I was at work

I've tried but she did ring back and I was at work
hi there-- are you able to get hold of her email address and send her an email detailing your concerns.
or ring and leave another message with a specific time you can accept a phone call( maybe on your lunch hour at work )

Next time you leave her a message to call you back, specify what times would suit you and see if she can phone then. My DSN starts work around 8am so has phoned me before work.

Also, if it's an important call, could you forewarn your manager and ask to take the call in work time? I've done that before when I've been waiting for a callback from the hospital.
