Hi there,
Thanks for taking the time to read my first posting.
I've been Type 1 for about 8 years now and it's been controlled by Levemir and Novorapid. Despite a few rocky months and weight gain it's been a positive experience.
However, my local Diabetes clinic has now suggested they may think I'm type 2, particularly as my Mum was diagnosed with T2 about 2 years before I was.
I realise not all type 2 rely on just tablets but I'm slightly concerned what potential outcomes this may lead to.
Can there be such a crossover, or could it be potential misdiagnosis in the first place.
I'd welcome any guidance. Ta!
