Has anyone else had this?
I had to spend yesterday in hospital after a few days of reduced movements. They did some monitoring and another ultrasound, during which the Doppler picked up that the Resistance index (resistance in blood flow to the baby from the placenta) was too high, basically meaning that baby is having to work extra hard to get what it needs from the placenta.
I have to go back into hospital today but I would love to know if anyone else has had this? What happened?
This could also be tied to the fact that I still have no insulin resistance. May indicate that the placenta is not working like it should.
