Increased Post-Meal Spikes

Just over the last couple of days I've noticed a lot higher spike post-meal...I haven't changed my intake of carbs for any meal and had actually been experimenting with pre-bolusing to bring the spikes down!!...whereas before I was peaking at 8-9, over the past couple of days I'm going up to 11-12!!!!...:meh::hungover::grumpy:
I'm still going back down to good figures (in the 5s) afterwards so it doesn't seem like I need to take more insulin...

Bit confused and its ruining my time in target figures so would be grateful for any hints/tips! :happy:

FYI, my carb intake is around 160g/day...

Meant to mention: I also steer away from higher GI foods...

Is that with a meter or a cgm/sensor? If the latter it might be worth double checking with a meter to see if it's a sensor calibration issue....

That's a thought...yes, it's with the Libre...I'll check after lunch if it goes high again - thanks :):)

Maximum reading after lunch: 7.9...:facepalm::p:wacky:

Perhaps my post shamed my BSs into behaving :woot:
