I am on an Omnipod. About a week ago I changed a pod and after 2 days, It started hurting. When I got home from work, I decided to change the pod. The site then became more painfull and almost looks like a boil. The site is hard, red, a little swollen and painful.

Has anyone experienced this? Will it heal up on its own or do i need to get it checked out and perhaps get antibiotics?

I have had tender, hard infusion sites with my Veo, not boil like as you describe though......

healed up fine......the tubeless kit might be different, and sound as though a prescribed cream might help.....

I would try anti-septic cream or tea tree first with keeping it clean but don't cover it up as the air helps it heal. If it's not seeing any improvement from that then get it checked out.

I think I would urge you to go to a chemist and show the lump to a pharmacist. They will probably know if it warrants seeing a GP for anitbiotics or may be able to give you some antibiotic type cream to put on it.
