Hi,
How would I check my insulin levels please.? I’m not diabetic but I think mine could be high.!?
 
insulin levels, you cant really, from home anyway............

a blood glucose test can be done which can then tell you if your insulin is doing the job....

you would need to purchase a meter and test strips to do that.......
 
May I ask what makes you think your insulin levels are high?

Do a glucise tolerance test, if your number BEFORE the test is HIGHER than that AFTER the test then you have over secretion of insulin.

I think my insulin is high as I shake all the time feel off balance but my blood sugars are normal
 
You can do a home insulin test but you have to pay for it, and you have to find somewhere to have your blood drawn from your arm.

A few members of this forum have done this. There is no other way available to us in the UK unless you can persuade your doctor to do one, which is possible, but unlikely.

Have you been diagnoser by a endo. It sounds strange to have hypo symptoms if your blood sugar are normal.

Blood sugar below 4 mmol are considered a hypo.
Can add that hypoglycemia not just makes you feel shaky, there are several other nasty symptoms when you get one too.
