Insulin pump and CGM treatments availability in Spain

Hi all,

I’m new to the community but certainly not new to Diabetes - I have been diagnosed with Type 1 whilst still living in Brazil (my home country) back in 1997.
I have been on insulin pump treatment (Tandem t:slim X2) and CGM (Dexcom G6) for about 2 years now. All via the NHS.
My wife and I have been considering moving to Spain (probably to Valencia, Barcelona or Madrid) in the near future, and currently the most important question to be answered is whether I would have access to the same (or similar) treatment over there.
I don’t think it’s relevant, but we’re both EU citizens and have been living happily in the UK for 17 years. :)
Any advice or tip would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Sorry no idea what the situation is in Spain, but giving you a little bump in case anyone else can help !

There is no problem with your pump (Tándem T:Slim) and your CGM (Dexcom G6) in Spain (Seguridad Social).
Hi, thanks for your reply, but I was more interested in knowing about eligibility, how to apply for them, costs (if any), etc.
