Type 2 insulin

Hi @Raoul VanMulders and welcome to the forums. Is the rash all over your body or just at the injection sites?

I have heard of allergic reactions to insulin, but my (limited) understanding is that they are normally caused by the chemicals used as preservatives for the insulin.

The obvious thing to do is to talk to your medical team. If it is the insulin (and I have no idea if it is) it is possible that a different type of insulin may resolve the issue.

Thanks for answering that quick.
There is no rash at all. The skin is just burning on my legs /back. The belly region is more pins and needles especially in the evening.
My medical team has no idea.
I am diagnosed a diabetic since 1986. I am 77 years old. On insuline since april this year. Within a week I had pins and needles. Still have them.
Doctors ( GP's and endo) rule out insuline being the cause. Told them I do not agree.
I hope somebody has had the same experience.
