Hi all,
I am shortly going on holiday to a hot climate and would like to know what effect temperature has on insulin, I use NovoMix30.
Obviously i would like to carry my Flexpen at all times so any advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Look at frio products... I havent been abroad recently, but know of a young pump user that has, and used a frio pump bag.
 
Going on holiday in less than a fortnight and I've got a frio bag. Recommended by my DSN!
 
Good... Glad to hear it. I got a frio... Just need the holiday!!! Hope you enjoy yours.
 
I've got mine for my pump.. Not for carrying insulin.
Just enables pump to stay cooler (hopefully) in the summer) whilst I'm gardening.
Its packed away at mo, but guess its about 4x5 inch from memory.
Will see if I can find it and unpack it to measure...

There are different sizes, I have one that carries 2 pens. But there is bigger and smaller too!
 
Thank you for the information on Insulin storage. I have purchased one of the FRIO DUO's. Wwhat a clever and excellent piece of kit. A must for all insulin users !!!.
