Interesting information on the date July 27, 2022

Did you know that today the whole world is of the same age? Today is a very special day and there's only one chance every Millennium (1,000) years.

Your age + your year of birth every person is = 2022.

It is so strange that even experts can't explain it! You figure it out and see if its 2022. It's a thousand-year wait.

Example: I am 84 years old and was born in 1938 so 84+1938= 2022

Nope! Not at the moment. I was born in 1945, so am 76. 1945 + 76 = 2021. It will, however, be true in December, when I turn 77.
 
Doesn't work for me, or friends/family who haven't had their birthdays yet this year. Once they've had their birthdays it adds up to 2022.

This concept was also reported on a number of years ago, not 1,000 by any means, and was correct for some people, but again not for everyone I knew until they'd had their birthdays, so it seems to be the year, not a particular date in that year.
 
A very weird concept!! I was about to post similar to @Hopeful34.

It's essentially some simple maths that's become distorted and mystified:

Basically the sum of your age plus birth year and whether you've already celebrated your birthday will give a match to the current year for everyone every year.

So, a couple days of after your post on on the magical millennial 27th July date:
  • My current age and birth year equals 79+1942 which gives me 2021, but come my August birthday, then I will match 2022 too.
  • For my younger sister: 77+1945=2022; her birthday is at the beginning of the year so she fits. But due to this weird idea regarding age, for a time she could actually be a year older than me! :eek:o_O
@Riva_Roxaban I'm more than somewhat relieved that my weight doesn't match too! :happy:
