Interviews with diabetics

I started working on a new project, Diabetic & Me, a few weeks ago. I had no clear idea what I was going to create but I wanted to give something back to the diabetes community.

I'm a type 1 for 24 years myself and I sometimes wonder how other people live with their diabetes. How do they get affected by certain foods? What type of treatment are they on? Do they suffer from anxiety? Are they happy?

The idea became more clear and I started working on a blog where I can publish interviews with people having diabetes. I worked out a first version of the interview and posted it on Reddit. I received about 25 positive answers and in the meanwhile I received 17 filled in interviews back.

Currently I am working on the website in the hope to launch a first version in November.

I can share the interview here with you if you like.

Thank you.

Greetings,

Ely

Hi Ely,

I think something like this has to be run by the mods first, also because as a new member you can't post links anywhere yet. @DCUKMod might be able to help?
Good luck.

Yes, I could not find a place to post this so I thought this might be the most appropriate. Would love to talk to a mod about this :)

@Ely Fornoville - You can start a Blog in our Blog section. There is tab at the top of the page to facilitate that:

If you are looking to carry out interviews or research, we have a strict pre-approval policy for that to ensure any such work is being carried out in professional and ethical terms.

New members are not allowed to post links until they have participated in the forum for a short while, and built up some posting history. I'm sure you can appreciate that not all new member who arrive here are aligned to our community ethos.

Thank you.
At the moment many interviews are happening.
