I play roller derby (although I broke my ankle last year at a practice and it's been a long road to recovery!). I also enjoy Pilates, Zumba and Yoga.

Yes, I can do.

I have two tattoos - both quite small, one on the back of my neck and one on my foot. I'd like more but change my mind too often!
I also have multiple pericings - quite a few in my ears, and a few in my face. And some other ones that I don't reveal to strangersd!

What an odd question. I have never thought enough about flags to answer!

Mais oui. But I used to be a goth, so only a few times.

A lot in Europe, and Namibia.

I'd like to be really cosmopolitan and say Prague but I'm not sure I have one really.

Hahaha, no.

Oh yes. As a Customer Care Manager for a call-centre.

My close friends are all amazing people - I like that such good people see something in me that they are attracted to, although I'm not sure what it is..!

Hello my new friends,
Recently diagnosed with type 2, was losing weight for over a year and wondered why, no lifestyle changes, so i went for some blood tests, all was ok, liver, thyroid, cholesterol etc, except blood sugar was high so did a fasting test. Result was 12.
Took my second Metformin 500mg today, one a day for a week then 2 a day. Also Simvastatin 40mg once a day.
Monitored my sugar levels today for the first time and it ranged from 11.7 to 15.8. This worried me a lot last night and i went to bed feeling a bit depressed, i am never depressed, usually jump out of bed happy and jump back in happy. Is this normal ?

forgive my not answering the other questions at this point,
but i am the parent of a newly diagnosed 19 year old young man with type 1 diabetes, autism and associated learning difficulties,
depression/anxiety (taking citalopram) that is not able to participate in a forum like this himself.

i`ve joined this forum as this has all come suddenly and on top of everything else we deal with, after spending the best part of 4 days at a hospital bedside, suddenly we have needles and monitors, lantus and novorapid pens all over the place... and although ive learned a lot in the last 2 days, i admit its all a little bewildering at the moment, but i`m sure there is much much more i can learn from you kind people that have the most valuable thing.. experience.... in return i hope i can in some way help others at some point too, im a chef by trade so maybe i could perhaps offer some dietary or recipe help... i will find a way to put back into the forum as others have so generously done before me.
