I love reading all the replies and i hope to get involved in the forum.
I have had a bad run with my health but i dont give up, yes some days are awful but most days i fight my Neurophy and i have drugs that take some of the pain away but hey im alive right.My Group of Doctors and Friends help me to live as normal life as i can.ok thats all for now.

User name is Foxglove** and I’m 69, female and live in the NE of England. I’m an atheist and have been for most of my life. I’m a bit of an introvert and enjoy my family and a few friends. I used to go to the gym before Covid but haven’t joined one again. I enjoy Zumba, Yoga and Pilates but with a limited income I concentrate on my hobbies but I don’t at the moment take enough exercise. I’ve had pierced ears since the age of 11 and have one tattoo, a 50th birthday present to me from me. I thought I was old enough then not to regret it. I enjoy all kinds of music except more modern stuff mainly anything I can dance to.

I’m a bit of a home bird but I love the countryside and go camping at least once a year. It’s the change of lifestyle - no tv, country walks, cooking outside, reading lots of books, watching the world go by. I’ve lived in The Republic of Ireland and Turkey as well as in the South of England and the Midlands. I’ve taken holidays in Europe and spent some time visiting family in both Australia and New Zealand. Amsterdam and Prague, to date are my favourite cities but I’m hoping to visit Istanbul and not end up with a stomach upset for a week, as happened last time.

TV, that must be historical dramas which are relatively accurate and dramas such as Line of Duty, Silent Witness and European
thrillers. I’m not keen on programmes from the USA. I also watch documentaries mainly historical, archaeological and health but I’m open to anything else. Films pretty much mirror my tv likes but fantasy films like Lord of the Rings are a big hit with me

Hello. I’m a 65 year old man. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes 2 (HbA1c 51) and I will be retested in a few weeks. I have also made modifications to my diet (Mediterranean). In addition to this my feet, toes and tips of my fingers tingle. This is unrelenting, particularly in my feet. I’m finding this difficult to contend with. Hence, any advise on how I can manage and/or make this more comfortable would be greatly appreciated …. Thank you, Nic
