Any awesone guitar playing, any awesome singer, and not forgetting awesome drummers & all the musicians who made an industry out of music, esp rock music since I was a kid! In fact the whole music industry...just sad i cant cope with crowds...festies are ok!

- Do you work? If so, as what? A self emp private Tutor...43 years before that all kinds teaching and admin.

- List the subjects you study/have studied. Lots...36 module degree Environment & Bus admin...Teaching quals & many years ago Geology

- What do you like most about yourself? Am a clothes-aholic love materials, (cheap is ok)...love greenspace, love taking landscape photos but end up taking the same places as lifes been tough waiting 6 yrs for a state pension...and i'm quite a happy person

- What do you like least about yourself? The unspoken 'not part of the human race syndrome' that waiting 6 years for my state pension has put me in...

& I'd like Peace in the world and enough good basic living standards including health and healthcare for everyone...just cant imagine life where there's no equivalent of our NHS

I drank gallons of...wait for it...fruit juice for years 1.5L day...ate tons fruit to get me here!

Aww thats so sad...and such a bad time to find out, the worst is that food manufacturers actively create probs...you need to learn to cook delicious healthy food that fitness friends will appreciate...and you will be really popular! You dont need fast foods if there are fast foods where u are...you will still be liked with friends who diet!!

Hi, I am all new to this diabetes thing, it all started a year ago when I had a heart attack and thinking it was just indigestion. Some test later I find out that I have Type 2 diabetes, after an appointment with the diabetic nurse I thought I would try and do a healthy eating place but I am struggling with that, so i'm here to get some advice and encouragement.

Hi, my name is Joshua & I've been a Type One Diabetic for over 5 years. Was diagnosed in 2017 (a few days before my 19 birthday unfortunately). Just looking to get involved in the diabetic community as I would like to incorporate some new things into my life (exercise) and hope those that have more experience that me can be helpful.

Currently 24 years old.

I'm male.

I live in the United Kingdom.

- Which city/area do you live in?
Dartford, Kent

- Are you religious?
I'm not religious.

- Pick three words to describe your personality.
Quirky, nice & unique.

- Do you have any pets?
I have multiple pets which include: dogs (4), cats (5), budgies (2), rabbits (2), Guinea pigs (4), horse (6) & a number of chickens.

- Microsoft or Apple?
In terms of daily use I use Microsoft Windows. In terms of tech Apple definitely have a more concise approach to their software and hardware development.

- Which sport(s) (if any) do you like/play?
Not really an athletic person. I used to play Badminton when I was younger and really enjoyed it (maybe in the future I'll try it again). Really want to incorporate some exercise into my life but struggling with constant lows afterwards.

- Do you get angry easily?
Not really unless it's warranted.

- Do you have any tattoos or piercings? If so, where?
Just have a medical tattoo on my wrist of my right arm that says 'Type 1 Diabetic'. I often think about maybe getting a few more tattoos later in life.

Some musicians I like; Muse, Two Door Cinema Club, Nothing but Thieves, Sigrid, One Ok Rock etc. (won't list everything as I like a wide range of music)

- What would you say your favourite music genre is?
I'd probably say rock.

- What is your favourite flag?
I like our Union Jack, I also like the simplicity of the Japanese flag.

- Ever gone camping?
No.

- Ever been in love?
No. I'd like to be.

- Ever used fake tan?
No.

- Which countries have you visited?
Haven't gone abroad much but I've been to Germany and Barbados.

- Favourite city?
Tokyo looks really cool.

I actual prefer watching anime over TV shows. Love the show Always Sunny in Philadelphia & Malcolm in the Middle.

I'd say I'm middle class.

This place is amazing, very friendly and very helpful. At the moment I am trying the Low Carb diet which a lot of people here are on and it seems to be working well for me, so have a read around the forum and maybe try it yourself.

I’m not going to read all 200+ pages so I’ll just ask: Has anyone questioned why the OP, an administrator working for an organization that sells things on a linked site, made a point of asking all the marketing type questions listed on page one? If so, what was the answer — or did they not get one?

She's not online often anymore, but she does have an occasional peek on the forum so she might see your PM.
