Lynn Perth Western Australia type 2 has worsened in last 12 months got very excited about Dr Neal Barnard s Reverse Diabetes diet but has made no difference in last 3 months and several of hs recommended meals send my big wAy up Exercise does too Wondering ifAnything is going to work . Well you are going to change that all soon by concentrating on healthier eating and a bit of exercise maybe walking that dog further. I must confess it saddened me to read those 4 words but I do know that feelng.

I have just been diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. Still too tired to do much of anything and will see diabetes management team for the first time tomorrow. I'll try answering some of the questions.

Currently Midwest, but I'm a East Coast Native New Yawker (very much so!). I plan on moving back to the East Coast as soon as possible.

Spiritual, but, very down to earth.

hi everyone my names john i am 40 years old recently diagnosed type 2 diet controlled at the minute i live in sunny belfast in northern ireland and am married 10 years this year have 5 great kids ranging in age from 1 to 16 my favourite things are excersize and travelling i am not a religous person but nor am i an atheist i have no pets

Hello All im new here have been a diabetic since may 26th 2012 i got diagnosed just under a week after my 30th birthday sucks i know the doctors told me i was type 2 stuck me on insulin and metformin became really ill i lost 10 stone in under a year and was in intensive care in july 2013 where thay finally diagnosed me as type 1...

Hi. I've just joined the forum thru the app. Not sure how to start a new thread? I don't have diabetes but look after family members who do. My disabled sister has type 2, treated by diet only, and has what we think is a stomach bug. She's vomited once today and doesn't feel up to eating. Any advice? Thanks

Used to study: Business Studies. Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Economic Thought, Philosophy, Statistics, Politics, some Geology, Religion. Teaching. Counselling.

As well as attending school Mon to Fri learning subjects not listed here I had to attend a Commercial College on a Saturday from the age of 11 to 16. It has come in handy over the years although I wasn't too delighted for all the additional homework at the time. Shorthand, Audio Typing, Typing, Bookkeeping, Commercial English, Commercial Maths, Commercial History, Commercial Geography, Switchboards and all the then latest office equipment. Exams to both or either Pitmans or RSA.
