i believe religion should be a private thing as organised religions breed guilt and hate. i have no problem with anyone who is part of an organised religion, its just not for me.

complex, enigmatic, confused

yes, i have six big dogs and four cats. i'll happily talk about them for days on end if given the chance!

- Microsoft or Apple?
i'm a windows user, never even tried apple!

- Which sport(s) (if any) do you like/play?
i love football, and most motor sport (a bit of a tomboy!) i used to play football, netball, volleyball, softball, and compete in athletics and gymnastics. this was all before i got life changingly sick aged 14. now i pretty much just watch!

- Do you get angry easily?
i get annoyed easily but not angry. it takes a lot to make me angry, but once i am there it takes even more to calm me back down again....

- Do you have any tattoos or piercings? If so, where?
no tattoos yet but i have designed several for friends and plan to get three small ones someday soon, if hubby can be convinced.... i have both ears pierced and stretched to 10mm.

i like so much music its impossible to list, basically i'll give anything a try apart from opera which i just cant get my head around.

- What would you say your favourite music genre is?
depends on my mood!

the rainbow flag of world peace and gay pride. lol

yes but not for ages and probably never again!

yes. I am currently married to the man i love very much. we've been together since my 19th birthday.

no. i'm the palest of the pale and i dont care. i've been called everything from casper to marilyn manson because of how pale i am!

only England and Wales. i'm a homebody ad dont much like travelling anywhere that i have to stay over night.

dont really have one.

any football or motor racing. a whole bunch of other stuff....

definitely not. ive been living on benefits only since i was 16. my husband is also ill and we live with his elderly mother....

no. i always intended to be a forensic pathologist but after getting sick i just didnt have the strength or energy to go to university. maybe one day....

i did all the usual GCSE's (got 12 A*-C grade) and then did A-levels. psychology, human biology, chemistry, maths and PE.

- What do you like most about yourself?
i'm honest and compassionate, i love animals. i am open minded and reasonably intelligent (IQ fading everyday!)

- What do you like least about yourself?
i'm unhealthy and getting fat. i'm not working, i'm impatient and anti-social!

Are you normal /under/over weight? What are your eating habits etc etc etc If you can do this it might help you to see what type of help or advice you are looking for. I hope you will write in and tell us a bit more. Looking forward to hearing from you on here. ♡

Hi, My levels were 6.7. I am diet controlled. I am overweight, but only by a couple of stone. I weigh 15 stone, and should be 13 stone. I have been a bad boy eating ridiculous amounts of sweet things. I quit alcohol three years ago, and don't smoke.

Well done so far. Your bs are good large amounts of sweets not so good and giving up alcohol is fantastic. If you can reduce your weight to closer to normal there is a better chance of keeping away from taking tablets or at least delay the progress. Exercise is always a good idea if you can nothing too strenuous tho at least to start with. One of the best helpful tips I've heard is too much carbs are as bad as eating a bowl of sugar. This is because carbs break down almost immediately into glucose. So if you eat lots of things like bread and potatoes you will need to have much smaller portions. Do this slowly if you cannot reduce your food at once. Even too much veg and fruit has to be

......curbed I'm afraid. Try asking your Gp to refer you to the Expert Patient Course for diabetes as i found it invaluable especially as always newcomer to diabetes, before you pick up any bad habits lol. I have been diabetic for 10 years now and one can always learn something new every day lol. There is so much more to learn and gradually you will, just make sure you don't ever panic and try and find yourself a support network and if you have a local Community diabetic clinic then start there as they are usually full of info and tips. Hope this has helped you a bit
