hello i am a newbie(cringe hide in the corner) i am a very private person so if you don't mind i will skip all that info stuff for now.i am too tired anyway to fill all that out.
i just wondered if anyone has been put on a new injectable drug (i cant remember the name my Dr only rang up earlier and i forget it now) for type 2 diabetes as apparently i am now quite ill .Forgive the forgetfullness i am on a lot of medication and have fibro fog as i also have fibromyalgia.Its not insulin it began with a 'g' i think.
Some count i have was 60 something is now 86 something and normal is in the 40's.sorry to ramble

This is my first contribution to this site although i have used it for information for a little while now, hearing how other people deal with everyday things makes you feel not so alone

I'm a few months away from my 35th birthday.
I live in the North East of England and i've been diagnosed Type 1 for coming up 25yrs now and 5yrs on an Insulin Pump.
I have lots of tattoos, i have one dog, one rabbit and a tank full of fish, all rescues ( i'm a sucker for a sob story)
My music collection is eclectic and in some cases very embarrassing.....

My husband has just been diagnosed as borderline diabetic. It wasn't a huge shock, he's gradually put on lots of weight over the years. Works far too many hours, doesn't exercise much and because he's on the road a lot, he's diet is very often whatever he can grab whilst he's driving.

At home he eats healthily, as I try to cook as many meals from scratch as possible, I'm hoping joining this forum will give us ideas to help with his 'on the road' meals.
