Hi all,
I'm Dennis, 49 years old and i live in the Netherlands. I was diagnosed with T1 in 2010.
After reading this forum for several years i thought it was time to register. Hoping to find some answers in my diabetes struggles and maybe help others.
 
Sorry to hear you have T1 but welcome to the forums @Dennis78 .

I've had T1 for 56 years and moved to a pump 2 years ago, which has helped a lot.

Hoping your struggles aren't too severe?

The issues i'm having are causing moderate problems. I'll write them out in a seperate threat.
Just out of curiousity, why did you start with pump 2 years ago and not earlier?

They offered it to me about five years ago but I was reluctant to move to a fully connected mode and was (sort of) happy with pens. Then I found lantus increasingly unpredictable so jumped at the next offer. I wish I'd done it earlier.
