Irritability

For some people yes, high blood sugars go hand in hand with irritability. I have that and my dad did, you could always tell if our bloods are high as we’d be very short tempered

As to what to do, well I only really knew I was not at my best after wards when people told me. At the time it felt like I was just wound up too tight. Only absolute way I found was to get lower bloods. Which am aware is not helpful in of itself

so, exercise, getting away from people and just trying to work off the excess sugar helped me somewhat.
 
Well downright cantankerous is more like it and what I often do is what I am doing now sitting up in my room on my own till it wares off bringing down BG levels is the only way by what ever means a few glasses of water and a gentle walk often does the trick not strenuous activity though as this may often raise BG.
 
So glad to hear this is true for others I was beginning to feel like I was turning into the wicked witch of the north. The urge to stab people with my knitting needles has been nearly overwhelming at times. Happy New Year everyone

I think they mean the feelings you get when your levels are either on the way down or on the way up wildly, ie fluctuating quite speedily. I get that too on some occasions, I can tell the difference between when my levels are fairly smooth (ie a straight line) or whipping between low and high.

When my bg is high I get like that... Will be very blunt when talking to people etc

How to deal with it... its simple don't have high bg
