Is it Insulin Resistance?

Good Morning wonderful people:)
I got my pump at 10am on Monday. Was changed from Actrapid to Novorapid. Was told to start with a basal rate of 8 units an hour with a bolus of 30 units with each meal.
After 6 hours on the pump my sugars were 19.8 so I was well chuffed. However I did a bm 4 hours later after a carb free meal & bm was hi again & has stayed there.
This brief lowering of sugars has happened twice before when I've had a change in insulin.
Is it resistance or am I making antibodies?

I hadn't even thought of that possibility Sarah, thank you.
The hospital has managed to get me some u500 insulin, but it won't arrive for a fortnight.
I think the u500 is pork insulin so it will be interesting to see if it's more effective xxx
