Is it normal?

I'm a Type 2 and using 2mg Metformin.

Is it normal for my Blood sugar to rise as high as 15mmol/l 30 minutes after eating a meal or should it be lower?

Does it really matter anyway, as long as it returns to the same level it was before I ate the meal - within 120 minutes?
 
It all depends on what the meal consisted of........

I certainly wouldn't be very happy to have levels that high at any time.
