Long title, short thread for a change!
When and where and how I was brought up gave me an understanding of how my behaviour mattered to my family, my friends and my acquaintances and my peers in sport and my social outlook. My attitude to work, being responsible and accountable for my actions, the intelligence to be honourable, trustful, approachable, and most importantly, non judgemental!
However, because I lived in an area, where it served to be clever in using language to promote yourself, get out of tricky situations, stay out later or you know being a teenager!
One of the first things my mother drummed into me was work ethic, then staying out of trouble, then don't lie! Because that is the worst, lying, not only demeans yourself, but being known as a liar, in our community, were we had to rely on each other for all the basics in life, the trust and neighbourly, really mattered!
It goes like this,
Start lying and you have to remember the lie, which means the lie dominated your actions to corroborate the lie, and your future development would be restricted if you were known. And then, if the lie blew up in your face.
All through my life, being trustworthy, truthful and downright honesty wasn't only ethical and moral!
It was expected!
It was a necessity to get by in life, to get work in a place dominated by the rich!
And where a poor working class family, to be seen and believed to be honest and worthy of those running the place!
Of course, a breadwinner needed work, to get food and a roof over their heads!
Then in these areas, you knew who were the most dishonest people around, and they were not the criminals or those down on their luck, or those without work, or the traders, shopkeepers or those who were disadvantaged, we were all in it together.
We were told by our betters to respect the police, the law, our leaders, our history, our royalty and political leaders!
The deference we showed in normal every day life, the belief in our democracy and our royalty was how we built our empire and respected by those all over the world. A country you could be proud of, having withstood hitler, the founding of the NHS and The health insurance, and benefit system for those heroes to come home to!
But there was still those who would lie, cheat, take advantage of, judge you, and use their financial clout to use propaganda to mislead, distort, offend, cause unnecessary cruelty and harm!
There was still a class war!
And the role of the borough council and police, in assisting this poisonous, onerous culture to maintain this status quo, was so evident, that the community often took the law into their own hands to be rid of some nefarious characters and had to be clever to make the community exist!
And, I cannot understand why anyone would be surprised, that it is a number of eton, Oxford educated, very rich, elitist politicians, that are in over their heads, with the help of the highest ranking police officers in all the lies, lies, more lies, sleaze, lies and more lies, breaking the laws, that they made, and throwing around billions of hard earned taxpayers money to other elitist, very rich donors, more lies and more lies and more parties and lies!
In the middle of a pandemic, the middle of a cost of living crisis, a wage crisis and brexit, being the worst decision, this great country has made! Coming to kick us in the teeth and pocket! More lies! Our freedoms being whittled away, no citizens charter, no justice rights and our economy going to the dogs.
And in my opinion, the worst, is the number of working people using food banks and as usual the worse off and poor having to pay more in taxes, being targeted, to suffer because of elitist dogma!
Fancy being in a community, were the leader of that community, cajoled, badgered, threatened and used every illegal trick to disguise the real reason what they are trying to achieve, by lies, deceit and backhanded villany!
You just couldn't write this stuff!
How can anyone who has the audacity to lie in front of the home of democracy, of parliaments be allowed to continue to be a leader? It is beyond comprehension? It is beyond belief!
And they will flaunt it! They will go on the television and lie unreservedly, and have the gutter press, extol their lies and propaganda! They do not have honour! They don't care!
The day will come when they will have to account for what they have done!
But, they will be living in luxury, laughing about it all, and how clever they were.
In all honesty, being found out, has no affect on them at all, and to me, that is so frightening!
How can they be part of selling their souls,? to be so unscrupulous and hurt so many people in such a way to be classed in the same way that harm kids or intentional cruelty, emotionally, to their future and health!
This elitist, libertine culture is cruel, demonic, unethical, that is making the last vestiges of the British people, to be so damaging and a laughing stock!
The big question is why?
And what do they want to achieve?
It won't be good!
