Since this is an anonymous question, here goes. Erectile dysfunction. Summoned the courage to speak to my GP over 2 years ago, was prescribed viagra, but it seems that it doesn't work every time. So much so that I just gave up and abstained for over 2 years (my wife has a problem with her libido so it seemed the easiest solution). Is there an alternative drug I could ask my GP for? I'm conscious that at age 45 the days of my already limited sex life are numbered and I'd like to get the old spark back before it's too late.

Transurethral Alprostadil or as known by the manufacturer's name, Muse.... ya pop it down the eye hole and gently work in...
Its not quite instant, but within a minute (two max) the resulting stiffy will amaze all concerned and demand immediate attention
Being diabetic, you will get it on prescription so long as the script is endorsed SLS by the signator.

Also 45 is no age to give up .. I'm 70 and I'm still woken up each morning with a tent pole and about once a week it gets shared with my wife :D .
I used to need chemical assistance, bur since injecting a daily shot of Victoza, the tenting trick returned all by itself 8) ..

Shouldn't you be asking this question to your GP ?
Personally Daily Cialis(5mg) works best for me. Lesser side effects and it just builds my confidence. Having said that, with the Viagra patent now expiring, generics have entered the UK and while they are all essentially sildenafil citrate formulation, they could be synthesized slightly different with certain binding agents which might give different responses compared to Viagra - so its worth a try. I have a question - sildenafil prices are obviously much lower than Viagra as shown here on this price comparison website http://www.erectiledysfunctionclinic.co.uk/viagra.php - so does it mean there is a chance NHS will allow more tablets per month?
