Is this just a stage during adapting to LCHF ?

Some of the symptoms you describe are typical of low thyroid function. It can be difficult to diagnose as there can be a log period of failure and recovery before the eventual complete failure.
After several tests which came back normal I was left for about a year before another one was done - my TSH was four thousand times higher than the upper limit of normal by then.

Yeah when other poster mentioned that Hypo and Type 2 can go hand in hand it reminded me that at many points I have been slightly hypo but not enough to warrant being treated by the doctors in the past but got me thinking if it was bad then with just my prolactinoma, then surely it must be more compromised now that im also type 2 and have this albuminarium condition going on. But again I dont expect the GP to be any use in this regard and even if they are showing signs i expect it to be glossed over which is why i was hoping i could naturally treat it.. but just want to make sure those articles are not correct or else i've got an uphill battle trying to stay on this diet for my diabetes but also knowing its causing havok on my thyroid. :/

Is just a few but theres many more, just wondered if there was any truth to this and if so how to combat it so i can continue on this diet as other poster mentioned hypo and type can go hand and hand and along with other hormonal issues may be the reason for quite a few of my issues.

Reason im asking here is due to previous thyroid readings being in the moderate/low range and because of this Doctor didnt feel need to do anything regarding it so would like to tackle it myself with diet/supps etc if this diet is possibly exacerbating it.
I’ve just looked at the first link and the paragraph “The thyroid needs glucose to produce its hormones T3 and T4, and to convert these hormones from inactive to active form. When not enough carbs are present, hormone production and conversion slows, which can worsen a hypothyroid condition, including those caused by autoimmune thyroid disease. (5)”. The reference takes you to this https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25465604/ which discusses thyroid volume and glucose dysfunction such as diabetes. It does not discuss the claim above. This has already discredited the article in my view.

edit the next claim “The other problem with carbs is that cutting them suddenly from the diet – as tends to happen when making an abrupt dietary shift like starting a ketogenic diet – can trigger the production of another thyroid hormone known as Reverse T3. If it sounds like the opposite of T3, the primary energy-boosting thyroid hormone, it is. (6)” has the link https://www.sciencedirect.com/sdfe/pdf/download/eid/3-s2.0-B9780323048415500637/first-page-pdf which mentions nothing about diet or carbs let alone keto.
I won’t be bothering to read it further

The middle link actually says it can be help the only caveat is not to go below 20g per day. As most people hit ketosis at this level or higher there shouldn’t be too much conflict between thyroid and low carb according to this.
