So am now on trulicity and sugars by the next day dropped back to good numbers.

today they have been 7s most of the day.

before dinner was 6.3 and then 2 hours after eating was a 5.2.
Normally when I eat this meal (homemade burger with cheese and bacon inside and aubergine covered in tomato and cheese ) it goes up but not stupidly.
Never has it dropped.

sk much so I couldn’t work out why I was crocheting much tighter and the leg I was making was teeny.

seriously unimpressed with the D affecting my crochet. Grrr.

but is it normal for sugars to drop after eating?

I've had times when the levels have dropped after eating- I've put it down to the fact that you've eaten something your body can use for fuel so the liver doesn't need to dump anything into your blood to provide fuel- no idea if that has any scientific basis but as a theory it works for me- I'm interested to see whether those with more knowledge have any other theories.

Your meal was pretty low carb but also high fat, I’ve eaten an all day breakfast (left the carby bits!) this evening in a restaurant, similarly low carb high fat and My blood sugar dropped by 0.3mmol/L after 2 hours. You’re doing well, don’t fret!

I'm glad to hear that your sugar levels have dropped, I hope you are doing well on your new meds.
