Hi,
My fasting blood glucose is mostly between 100 and 110. My two hour post meal bg never exceeded 140, it stays almost always below 120 even after eating lots of carby foods like pizza, ice-cream etc. I even checked one hour post meal and it was below 120. My most recent A1C was 5.1%. My problem is only in the fasting blood glucose, it just won't come down, sometimes it comes down to 95 but mostly stays in 100-110. This is making me worried a lot these days. 3 months back my fasting sugar was 85-90 when I was living a sedentary lifestyle. But then I adopted a very healthy lifestyle (and saw this increase in fasting sugar), I exercise always in the morning, do gym and running, I have become muscular and lost most of the little amount of fat that I had. My weight has been consistent at around 120 lbs and height is 170cm. Also my current diet is high in protein and vegetables , very low carbs, so I don't think carbs have any effect. For experiment, I switched to a very high carb diet and fasting sugar remains the same. However, if I eat something in the morning and go out for exercise, my blood sugar drops to 85-90 approximately 2 hours after eating which also includes an hour of exercise. I have no idea what's going on. My doctor isn't concerned. I read about LADA on the internet and it scared me out, I am thin, and LADA happens to thin people. I don't have any family history or any other medical condition. I am 20. Please someone tell me what's going on.
Thank you.
