Evening and sorry me again ☺

For the past two days I have been unable to raise my bloods out of the 4s, no matter what and how much I eat. I don't feel too bad when 4 but I've been as low as in the 3s and this has left me not feeling great. Has anyone any ideas? I haven't changed my diet or what I eat and take the maximum dose of gliclazide X2 80mg twice daily

Do you happen to have two meters where you can rule out a mechanical issue?

The reason I ask is that I had an issue with my Accu-Chek meter several months back which caused it to always read around 8 mmol/l no matter what. I tested with a different meter and discovered the issue.

Beyond that, I'm sure I could find a way to spike my blood sugar if I needed an excuse, lol.

As above If you don't another meter or test calibration solution test a "normal" pesons blood as a sanity check on youmeter reading.

Thanks guys such a simple solution I have a spare meter don't know why I didn't think of it hard day at work today it is the same make but spare and the only other thing I haven't tried is a bar of chocolate will check now with my spare meter x

It could be the glicizide.
If it's a true reading of your blood glucose levels then have a word with your medical team.
Glicizide is a med which reduces your blood glucose levels.

My extra meter gave me a very similar reading in the 4s. I have an appointment on Monday next week with my gp so between now and then I will keep a detailed diary of foods and readings and take it with me see what he says x
