Type 1 Is Yoga Ok For Diabetes

Yes, yoga should,be fine :) There are different kinds of yoga and some are more energetic than others so you'll need tomtest your blood sugar before you start, possibly during the session, and afterwards too. Take along some glucose tablets in case you go low.

You might also like Tai Chi. It's very relaxing :)

Is it ok to do yoga if you are diabetic please because I'm always stressed out

Yes of course it's ok to do yoga.

Just like with any exercise, test your blood sugar before you start, keep hypo treatment handy. But if you are doing a gentle yoga or Pilates class for relaxation (as opposed to some sort of hardcore hot yoga work out) it's unlikely to have much impact on your blood sugar.

There are lots of simple yoga videos on you tube. Or if you don't feel confident enough to do the moves without the guidance of an actual teacher there are also meditation videos on you tube which migh help with the stress.
