They have said they updated the app and it’s gone wrong and they have people working on it at the moment. However, they are unsure of when it will be up and running again
Has it gone because there is no need to scan any more? My understand is that the purpose of the upgrade is to use BlueTooth instead of NFC so your pp should be automatically showing your readings without the need to scan.ive done this but i dont seem to have the button at the bottom i used to press to then scan.

I also have an I phone 13 and this morning around 9am the app went blank. Can you please post how I install the app again as I don’t have clue with mobilesIt’s ok using a third party app until you need to start a new sensor. This can on,y be done in the libre app or on a reader.
Having said that I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro. I updated my app yesterday, but don’t allow libre to access Bluetooth as I use XDrip4ios. My libre app is still working and I managed to start a new sensor with it this afternoon,

1. Remove the app on your phone by holding finger over the Libre icon and then ‘x’ to delete..
2. Reinstall Libre View from purchased apps in App finder. To do this press your profile pic or initials, in the top right of App Store
3. Select Libre View from drop down and reinstall- you will have to enter your account details, or get a password sent if forgotten.
4. Scan existing or new Sensor
Thanks I’ve download Shuggah and it certainly is working for me. Like you say need to sit down for a little while (or maybe longer ) to get my head round alarms etc but I’ve got the readings back thankfully. Just messaged my brother who is also Type 1 and his sensor just stopped working. I’ve told him to download Shuggah too. So glad I came on this forum. I’d have been lost without it. Thanks again. Hope this issue is rectified by Abbott soon.I couldn’t restore from my past purchases either however there is a really good fix, download the free Shuggah app from App Store. I found it at midnight when I realised there was a problem, some lovely person posted about it. It s SO much better than the official app as it turns our Libre sensors into a proper CGM, no more scanning! Still getting my head around the alarms that you can actually change, but now have my blood sugars popping up on my calendar (so on all devices) and as a banner when I open my phone, and as a label on the app button. Will be hard to go back to the official app after using this one but will have to at least check in with it every 8 hours for the NHS data I guess!
I had similar happen in Cyprus twice. Lost their stickiness in the heat and the pool BUT now have the round cover and plaster which work well - highly recommendIt’s really important that libre send you replacements for their errors. The NHS should not have to pay again. It does take 3-4 days to arrive though but it probably costs the NHS £50 per sensor if not more. I self funded before they were available on prescription. I also had one fall off when on holiday and reported, stupidly forgot to bring BG back up or a spare. I went to buy a BG kit and with strips was very expensive. Sainsbury had a private pay libre and charged me £70

I downloaded Shuggah a short timeOk just fixed the problem on my iPhone.

It is the updated app that is causing the issue unfortunately. If anyone hasn't updated it yet I wouldn't as mine was working fine this morning. As soon as I updated it blank screen and crashingMorning,

Is anyone else having an issue with the app today? I’ve just got a blank screen. I’ve tried off loading the app multiple times. If I delete I don’t think my sensor (which still has 8 days on it) will work and will have to use a fresh on! Can’t get through on helpline as it says office closed. View attachment 61917
