Issue with Libre - blank screen

Delete the app - then go to appstore - hit your profile and then you can reinstall from your previously purchased apps.
You will lose the data on the phone but if you are syncing to libreview it will still be there. Your existing sensor will still work

Is anyone else having an issue with the app today? I’ve just got a blank screen. I’ve tried off loading the app multiple times. If I delete I don’t think my sensor (which still has 8 days on it) will work and will have to use a fresh on! Can’t get through on helpline as it says office closed. View attachment 61917

I am getting the same issue. The app has disappeared from the App Store and has been replaced by LibreLink 3 which is not compatible with the Libre 2 sensor. I cannot get through to Abbot by phone oor online chat

I’ve fixed my Libre app using the instructions…BUT just to let you know it’s reading a full 2mmol differently to Shuggah!! Interesting. Don’t have access to my traditional blood sugar monitor at moment to check, but suspect the Libre is the more accurate one going purely on how I feel/what I would expect reading to be at this point.

i have turned my alarms off on my freestyle libre app

i have hten gone to bluetooth in the shuggah app
i am now getting notifications on my garmin watch!!!
it seems to update me with every movement so my watch is vibrating every minute or so
is this the norm or is there a way to have the readings on your watch face?

Yes, I’m having the same problem too. I managed to get through to someone on the phone after being on hold for 2 hours!!!
They have said they updated the app and it’s gone wrong and they have people working on it at the moment. However, they are unsure of when it will be up and running again

Hi I have been trying all day to get hold of some one it’s a joke my sensor was working ok this morning then white screen got told by diabetic clinic to phone help line well have still not got an answer not the most helpful if they have updated their system surely they could have given us a bit of a warning

Hi I am currently in Mexico on holiday and have contracted a stomach bug. Been trying to get through to Libre without success. Tried calling from the hotel and waited on hold for 35mins which has cost me $130 US. Sent three emails urgently asking for help. Not sure what to do next

if you click on your initials/picture in the top right corner of the App Store and then click on purchased, you can search for the freestyle app and download from the purchased section, even though you can't find it when you search directly on the App Store.

I have been on call center for an hour now wondering why the app wasnt avalable in uk after i had to uninstall because of white screen thank you for this comment saved me

I had similar happen in Cyprus twice. Lost their stickiness in the heat and the pool BUT now have the round cover and plaster which work well - highly recommend

It is crazy to think it took me doing a web search and finding this post to find out what was going on. If they had just posted something on the site it would have saved me a lot of stress and money

Although reinstalled app successfully it unfortunately doesn’t seem to be working properly for me. Saying ‘sensor error’ every few minutes and then the message about sensor readings being unavailable for 10 minutes. Perhaps it will settle when I start a new sensor but otherwise will need to be back on the phone to customer service.

I downloaded Shuggah a short time
ago and sensor is working fine on it. Would you suggest I just keep with this until sensor ends and then reinstall Libre from purchased apps? Thanks for your time.

There are multiple threads on the same issue.
Delete the app - go you your profile in the app store - find your list of previous apps download and reinstall from there.
When is asks you to register just skip that - you can sign in later.
All the previous data on the phone will be lost but if you sync with libreview it will be there.
You dont have to change sensor - you existing one will still work.

hi ive opened a new thread on this
essentially when i get an alert on my phone it updates my watch with the new blood glucose reading

i am hoping to have a watch face on my garmin which has the blood levels next to say the time etc.

it seems like its possible but i cant fathom it out.

I deleted the app and then downloaded it again from app purchase you lose your data but you can still keep your sensor you’re wearing and you can start scanning again hope this helps

When I’ve seen the reading I just press the bottom right hand button on my watch & it returns to the time, it’s so much better than opening the libre app to see it

I have just followed this

& I have the new app downloaded & replaced my sensor. Hope this helps anyone else in the same position (iPhone user)
