The most important marker in a lipid panel is the HDL to Triglycerides ratio, does your panel show this?
    My results come like this:
    Total cholesterol
    HDL cholesterol
    non HDLcholesterol
    Triglycerides
    Ratio HDL/Triglycerides
    LDL cholesterol

@HICHAM_T2 We do not understand your measurement units, and we can't use the normal converter from your units to mmol/l because it doesn't work for cholesterol. On your lab report, does it give the standard range?

    My results come like this:
    Creatinine 0.0764
    Total cholesterol 6.9mmol
    urea UV 0.003mmol/l
    Triglycerides 0.9 mmol/l
I got a suggested from my nurse to re-analyze
Because the general hospital was in a state of pressure because of the large number of analyzes

This may have to keep blood in the refrigerator until tomorrow

It looks like you are quoting in different scales - 1.81g/l, versus when you test them yourself at 104mg/l?

Cholesterol derived from the diet does not raise your body's cholesterol levels. Our livers make at least 85% of our cholesterol according to what our body needs at that moment in time, regardless of what we eat. If we eat foods such as eggs, our livers just make a bit less. There is no need to limit eggs or butter. The theory that eggs increase cholesterol was debunked several years ago.

I still cannot make head nor tail of your results. The only 2 components of our cholesterol that are important are the triglycerides, which should be as low as possible, and the HDL which should be at the higher end of the standard range.

Did you fast for around 10 hours before the test?

    ● People with high cholesterol tend to live longer
    ● People with heart disease tend to have low levels of cholesterol
    ● Cholesterol-lowering of a population does not reduce the rate of heart disease
