I have Type 2 diabetes for over 25 years. I now live in Crete. Over the last 9 months, I have developed very itchy rashes most of which have come and gone but now I have a persistent very itchy back and scalp. I have seen my GP and two dermatologists and have tried many tablets and creams but to no avail because the medics don't know the cause. I wonder if I have a diabetes related problem.
