Hi Sue,

I can see some clouds building that look mighty like snow to me. I live in a small village outside of Edinburgh and remember we were cut off about eight years ago for a couple of days. It is not a good sign to get snow this early in the season. I Wonder if we will get a white Xmas.

Caitycakes x

Hi Sue,
Just how far north are you?

Having asked that, there is snow forecast for the northern outskirts of London on Thursday!

Cuddle up with a nice warm ginger kitten :) Who could be so cruel as to take him out in the snow for a photo :?:  :?:

It's bucketing rain here now and the cats keep asking me to turn it off

Couldn't you keep it up in Scotland where it belongs, Sue :?:

This morning was beautiful - my choir was singing for a church drop-in centre.

This evening I was at our church in Southall, West London, & we heard it hail. When I went out to the car, there had been a blizzard, with wet snow several inches deep. I could make snowballs. I went out in sandals :x

The church is 1 mile north of home, & there had been no snow at home :!:

I've decided not to play tennis this evening :(

I always think of my cousin when it starts snowing as she, her husband, 3 small children and various pets live in Cannich, Inverness-shire....in a caravan!!! Well, they bought a plot of land and are having a house built but this must be their 4th or 5th winter in the caravan and at times they've had to collect water from the stream and it's frozen in the bucket before they got back to the caravan.Brrrrrrrrr!!!! Blow that for a game of soldiers!

think yourself lucky.

had to go on terraces tonight to watch Dartford play. snow followed by thundering hailstones

****** that for non league lol

Started snowing here around 3.45pm yesterday.. You shake with fear if that happens in central birmingham. The cars on the main roads leading out of city resemble a long line of frightened snails edging along even though there's no snow on the roads!! Travelling by bus is a nightmare. I was lucky enough to finish work early and avoid it yesterday. Got home nice and early too.....half term week. :D

Snow obviously travelled across the irish sea on Tues and hit Ballymoney county Antrim with gusto on Wed. Full blanket of the white stuff for about 2hrs then the rain washed it all away :( Sunny today and hope it stays that away, so the kids can trick or treat in safety whilst wrapped up warm for tommorrow night. :D

Hopefully the snow will stay away till xmas time. Then we can all 'chill out' and enjoy it. Met someone on the bus morning after it had snowed and she's never seen snow before!! She was like a child and very disappointed it hadn't lasted.

I'll make you all envious. I live in Waterloo, Ontario , Canada-that's about an hour west of Toronto and here in southern Ontario we've had a record 3 days of above normal temps 20c and sunny skies and going around in shorts and tees, and this is November!! Mind you we've already had one snowfall that was gone by the end of the day. Unmfortunately, things are to be back to normal for the weekend. All the best, Carol
