Ive stopped my meds

The norm seems to be around 20g a day. Some people manage on around 30g.
Thats really low isn't it. I think the Mocha drink alone that I have 2 of each day are about 11g carbs each.
I may have to stop having them too. Once you are in Keto properly can a bad carb day kick you straight out of it again?

Yes, it can. It sounds like you need to lower your carbs if ketosis remains your aim. Cutting out those drinks will help a lot.
 
Well done many Type 2's manage without meds, judging by your numbers this looks like the right decision for you.

As you are doing diet and execise you are getting double bubble.
 
Yeah, you are right there. I just cant seem to work out exactly how low on carbs I need to go to get me into Keto, and over what period of time.

As usual, everyone is different.

If you stay around the 20g per day mark for 4 weeks with NO DAYS OFF then you should almost certainly be in keto.

As for the Ketostix, it depends on how efficient your body is on using the ketones it produces and how your kidneys process it; do they save it or throw some away.
