Yes. It's a sugar.

Is it ok to add jaggery instead of Sugar, if I crave for some sweetness.

Had to look it up, but yeah, it's just sugar by another name. @mymuk 's suggestion's a good one. Erythritol does pretty good in things like keto mug bread or sweet omelettes (I like mine with a bit of cinnamon as well, or extra dark chocolate drops), don't like it much in my coffee though.... But depending on what you want to use it for, there's also blends out there of erythritol and stevia, and they don't have as strong an aftertaste. (The finer the granules, the better!)

Thanks everyone .. I checked the meter though after consumption of jaggery. There were no spikes ..
