Janument XR, and Missing Beats and Palpitations

Having Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, since 10 years,I am using twice tablets Janumnet XR (Sitalglin/metformin) 50/1000 mg.
I have been facing single missing heart beat and sinking of heart,Heart rate is 80 /minute.
Kindly advice it this problem due to this medicine or due to Diabetes Mellitus ?/
 
An irregular heartbeat. People with diabetes are at greater risk for developing a type of arrhythmia called atrial fibrillation. But it could be caused as a result of many other reasons. Don't assume. Please consult a specialist.

Hi mdmm and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately we cannot advise you on if your symptoms are due to your diabetes meds. We can only suggest you get seen by a dr. With cardiac symptoms I would start by ringing 111 if you’re in the uk.
