Does anyone take Jardiance with type 1 (while honeymooning)? My a1c is 6 (u.s.) and it keeps my BG down for now but I have this nagging feeling that I should give it up and only take insulin. At least that's what people are telling me. Stopping would mean that my BG would be about 50 points higher.
Thoughts?

I would bring it up with your diabetes specialist.

My drs have told me that Jardiance will be safe and effective to help treat Type 1 patients along with insulin. The clinical trials are underway and I think in China, it has already been approved.
