Just an update

Hi All

I have been a member for just over a week and took advice from the forum about low carb eating, my sugar pre forum was getting ridiculous and I was losing the plot unable to figure out how to reduce my numbers.

This evening I hit 6.5 which is the lowest for many a year, I am trying really hard to stick to the low carb lifestyle and to be honest I am finding it fairly easy to stick to.

I am keen to get new ideas for meals and snacks to keep my carb levels down, I am aiming for a 50g per day level for a while until I am happy that my control has improved and then I can try to add items back in to see how I react to them.

So any meal ideas gratefully accepted.

By the way I am booked for my regular blood test at the docs on the 25th so it will be interesting to see if there is any change.

Cheers

Tony

Well done :D

Lots of low carb things around, google it! Although if you want a recipe bok there are lots of low carb books for sale at Amazon or at your local bookshop. I spent a very pleasant afternoon in Watestones looking through the recipe books.

Hiya I've just got the Atkins illustrated cookbook off amazon, it's £15 in the shops but I got mine for about £4 on amazon marketplace. Lots of ideas in there!
