Hi everybody,
Went to see emergency dentist today as i needed some sort of help!
My bottom left hand side of my jaw hurts so bad that i have barely been able to eat! Managed a boiled egg this morning! And some soup this afternoon!
The dentist re xrayed all my teeth! And said that the abcess have now spread! i have one in my right wisdom tooth! And one in my lower left side of mouth!
The dentist said that the infection in my gums is spreading!
He has put me back onto anti botics, But he is worried as i can only eat soup and soft stuff due to the pain of chewing!
I have suffered 2 hypo's today as blood sugar has gone down to 3.6, Taken some glucose tabs!
I am worried as i can barely chew as the pain is so bad! But i have got my fiancee's 50th borthday to get through next week! I have appointment for end of july to see the dentist again!
what is the best soft food to eat while i am this way?

hya sandy,
i guess you can eat anything as long as you mush it up, the quicker u get your teeth sorted the better love :D

Ask your Dr about a hospital with dental A&E & go there. Don't take "No" for an answer. You need treatment NOW. You can't wait. I do hope you can get it sorted & feel well again soon.

My wife Ann was kept waiting 6 months & it spoilt last year with recurrent abcesses.

Cadbury's Smash is really good  along with mashed up cauli and peas. Baby food is also an option.

I am querying why your bg levels are so low though especially as you are not taking any med to lower bg levels?

Hi Ihs,
i don't know why my blood sugars drop badly! If i don;t eat they can go so low, then end up having a liver dump!
My doctor doesnot know why it drops so low! She thinks someof it could be the meds i am on! I.e warfarin etc could be making a difference to the way that my blood sugars are behaving!
My doctor and nurse are worried as they can drop rapid! Without any sort of warning on occasions!
I have no clue why they drop so much!

It's time to go to your Health Centre and throw a tantrum. Your dental trouble is part of an overall pattern. Everything needs checking out.
