Hi everyone
I'm a newbee here. I have had type one diabetes for 26 years. Up until recently I did not take my diabetes seriously, partying, never checking my blood sugars etc.
I've seen the light and realised If my blood sugars are stable then so is everything else in my life.
I was wondering what the criteria is to get an insulin pump? My blood sugars now sit around 9- 10mmol I am on humulin and novorapid.
I am desperate to get off shore, this is a life goal of mine so any info would be greatly appreciated

I dont have much support at all with my diabetes and find it to be very lonely trying to explain to people what I go through on a daily basis - my point being that I'm really excited to hear from.other diabetics and not feel so alone

Cheers!

Hi @Ley666 , and welcome to the forum!
I can't help you with your question on pumps (different country) but I wanted you to know I think it's wonderful you're picking up your diabetes management, well done!

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

I like your positive way of thinking. Relatively stable BGs can help.
I don't pump. But since you are interested, I will tag in @Juicyj @MeiChanski @searley

Hopefully they will come along & help out.

Thanks guys I'm absolutely loving reading everyones stories/ experiences. Makes me feel part of something - it's nice!

Thanks for tagging
