Fibre plus net give total carbs in US terms.
Are you following total carb restriction rather than net? I'm curious why you would want to know.. Fibre is considered to be indigestible so most carb restrictors don't count it.Thank you. That's helpful![]()
Yes, I'm a newbie, trying to be lchf I don't fully understand net carbs at the moment. Are you following total carb restriction rather than net? I'm curious why you would want to know.. Fibre is considered to be indigestible so most carb restrictors don't count it.
Where are you in the world?Yes, I'm a newbie, trying to be lchf I don't fully understand net carbs at the moment.
Net carbs are what you should be adding together towards your daily total number.. so the keto porridge you linked to would be 4g of carbs. What daily level are you aiming for? I'm guessing you are UK based? All food labels here show net carbs so count those towards your total. Does that help?Yes, I'm a newbie, trying to be lchf I don't fully understand net carbs at the moment.
Didn't mean to jump in but thought @Starfish18 might be wanting some guilt free brekkie..Thanks for the tag @Diakat , looks like the question has been answered. Yes I count 4g carbs per portion
Yes, that helps. Thank you. I am in the UK, just not used to net carbs. Everywhere I believe apart from the USA reports carb content as net carbs with fibre listed separately.. so here you can simply use the "Carbohydrate" figure in your calculations. Hope that helps.Yes, that helps. Thank you. I am in the UK, just not used to net carbs. I do have an awful lot to learn
