The ketogenic/keto diet is about as perfect for a T2 as diets get. Practically all carbs turn to glucose once ingested, and as the ketogenic diet is a low carb diet, it'll manage your blood sugars as well as your weight. As Goonergal said though, we don't know what medication you're on. Metformin'd be fine, but most others can cause hypo's when combined with the diet, so do test your heart out eh.
