Keto rash?

Me again! Just wondering if anyone has experienced keto rash from being in ketosis or eating a low carb diet? Before I was diagnosed I developed eczema on my neck and thought it was due to stress. I then went into dka and after being put on insulin the eczema completely disappeared. I started eating a low carb keto diet and have found this rash is back in the same place and just assumed it's because I'm in a time of stress again. However just now I realised obviously I was in ketosis when suffering from dka and had this rash and now I'm in ketosis again it's returned. Ive looked it up and it seems quite common. Just wondering what's best, to eat carbs, to try to eat enough carbs for it to go but to still be in ketosis or to try to treat it without changing my diet?

My first question is: what do your daily blood glucose readings look like?

I too had a rash prior to my diagnosis that went away as soon as I started insulin. However, it never returned I assume because my blood glucose levels are under control.

Like you, I also follow a ketogenic diet.

My daily blood glucose readings have been good, most days I'm between 4 and 5 although I can only use finger prick blood glucose tests but normally 2 hours after meals I'm back in the fours (possibly rising a bit higher one hour after meals) I don't take bolus injections at the moment as I'm honeymooning and with this diet it would make me low I think to even have one unit of humalog. Recently the highest I've been is about 9 but that's when I go low and eat more jelly babies than I probably should have
