Ketones test - what does it all mean?

I'm back from my hols and playing with that new meter I got free..

It has a couple of keytones test strips with it, so I did one and it came back as 0.2

I have a feeling that is astoundingly normal. Is this testing the same thing as the ketostix? and as everyone raves about getting the stix to turn purple, what number does purple equate with?

This is testing blood ketones. Ketostix tests urine ketones, which are a rough approximation to blood ketones.

I find I get good purple when my blood ketones are above about 1mmol/l.
