Was your blood sugar high? If so, this suggests you need more insulin.
Years ago, a non-diabetic pregnant colleague was kept waiting for hours at her hospital appointment. She was very hungry, as she was past her usual lunch time. The nurse was concerned about ketones in her urine, but apparently this was due to "starvation". If your b.s. was ok, were you very hungry?

If this becomes a pattern you'll have to increase your insulin. You don't want high blood sugars with or without ketones.
Ketnones usually occur if u have been vomiting or feeling ill.. r u drinking plenty I had it at 16 weeks in 1 sample but I wasn't drinking enough fluids.. I upped my daily intake along with my insulin requirements an I'm currently 25 weeks an all is goin good fingers crossed.. xx
